First Saturday bird walk at Kauffman Museum in Newton

The Kauffman Museum in Newton host First Saturday Bird Walks through Chisholm Park and along Sand Creek Trail. 

The organizers recommend folks bring binoculars and a bird book if you can. You’ll also want to wear good shoes – the walk is one and a half miles, with some unpaved/steep terrain. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome, but they should be able to remain quiet so they don’t scare away the birds! 🙂

Meet in the Kauffman Museum parking lot at 7 a.m. on Saturday morning. The walk will take about an hour or so.
