The Wichita Health & Wellness Coalition is sponsoring a free, hands-on event to provide tips, tools, tricks, and tastings to help and inspire Wichitans eat healthfully. The free event will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Sedgwick County Extension Center from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
We All Eat is free and open to the public. Various local and regional organizations will have booths set up with information and educational resources. You’ll learn things like finding quality ingredients, how to shop for the best food at the grocery store, reducing sugar and salt without sacrificing flavor, local foods, and more. Some booths will even have samples available, and there will be giveaways for great prizes like cast-iron skillets and electric pressure cookers!
