These summer concerts at Capitol Federal Amphitheater just keep on being great! Everyone loves their lineup of awesome performers each year, and 2022 is no exception!
We have two concerts to look forward to: Chris Janson on June 24 and Melissa Etheridge on September 24.
Tickets start at just $30 for each show or you can spring for more premium seats!
Tickets for the summer concert are on sale now at the CapFed Amphitheater website. This year they have different ticket options for each concert:
$30 Lawn Both concerts have lawn ticket options. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets and spread out in the grass to enjoy the show. This is the most economical way to see these awesome performers at the Amphitheater.
$45 Patio For Chris Janson, you can purchase a seat at a table on the patio. With these tickets, you get access to an indoor private bar and indoor restrooms.
$60 Premium Live a little larger with seats on the concrete area right up in front of the stage. Lawn chairs will be provided courtesy of Capitol Federal.
The most economical tickets are on the Lawn. Premium seating is right up front and you don’t have to bring your own lawn chair. Patio seating is farther from the stage, but you get a reserved seat at the Lodge, access to air conditioned bathrooms, and a dedicated alcohol sales location.
Food vendors will be onsite during the concerts. No outside food or drink is allowed, with the exception of one sealed water bottle.
Be sure to get ALL the information including show times, when the gates open, seating options, what you’re allowed to bring, where to park, and more at the Capitol Federal Amphitheater website here.
For years the City of Andover has held the annual Concert in the Park series, with amazing performers like Clint Black, Diamond Rio, Richard Marx, Rick Springfield, and others.
This year, Music Theatre of Wichita has held its shows in the amphitheater as well. And there’s a free monthly family movie series this summer too! We’re so thankful the CapFed Amphitheater was built because now we have lots of fun productions to look forward to.
It’s been a lot of fun. “Each year, we try to bring in artists from a variety of genres”, said Event Director, Katie Cork. “Rock, Red Dirt, Pop, and Contemporary Country, we’re hoping there’s something for everyone this year!”
