Wichita Festivals and Bradley Fair have teamed up to present Autumn and Art, a weekend-long fine arts fair that will be held at Bradley Fair from September 16-18, 2020. This will be a juried art show that brings in artists from across the U.S., including some from right here in Kansas.
The show will include a wide variety of visual art in media like ceramics, fiber, glass, metal, and wood and categories that include digital art, drawing, graphics and printmaking, jewelry, photography, mixed-media, sculpture, and painting.
On Saturday and Sunday, Autumn and Art will be FREE for everyone. Enjoy walking along the parkway next to the pond. They usually have live music but haven’t seen a lineup yet.
In addition to browsing and shopping for art, attendees can purchase soft drinks, wine, beer and snacks to enjoy as they stroll the parkway. Activities will include the The Art of Bloody Marys (build-your-own bloody marys) presented by HomeGrown from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; the parkway Chill & Charge Lounge with a charging station; and over-sized lawn games, including giant Jenga and connect four.
Art-themed fun for all ages will be available on Saturday and Sunday, including a variety of FREE, hands-on art activities at Artie’s Art Studio, coordinated by Mark Arts. Artie’s Masterpiece Games give youngsters a chance to have fun while learning about classic paintings.
Beside walking the beautiful grounds and viewing talented artists work. There will also be live music, dance, and artist demonstrations throughout the weekend.
