The Wichita Public Library will once again host free screenings of the Annual Academy Award Nominated Short Films in 2022.
Wichita Public Library was one of the first organizations in the nation to provide a way for the communities outside of major cities like New York and LA to see the nominated films.
Since 1986 the Library has annually previewed the short films nominated in the animated, live action and documentary categories at various times, dates, and locations, free and open to the public.
The screenings will take place March 19, 21, 24, 26, 2022 at the Advanced Learning Library, 711 W. 2nd St.
The Oscar-nominated short films are each 40 minutes or less, in the categories of Animation, Live Action, and Documentary. Admission is free for all showings.
The films are not rated and may not be suitable for all audiences. However, all films this year have an R-rating consideration.
