This month (February), Roxy’s Downtown is putting on an all-ages family-friendly musical production of The Wiz with an awesome local cast.
The show was an award-winning Broadway musical and a popular movie in the 70s. (The movie version starred Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Richard Pryor and others.) It’s a rock/soul remake of the Wizard of Oz with an all African-American cast.
The show was chosen for February to honor Black History Month and as a way to showcase the wealth of African American entertainers in Wichita right now.

Shows run from February 5 through the 23rd. Tickets are $25-$30 each, and a military discount is available.
