Friends of the El Dorado Lake are throwing their annual Independence Day shindig on Saturday, July 2nd.
Gather at the Bluestem Bait and General Store in the morning for an affordable biscuits and gravy breakfast, Independence Day parade through the campgrounds and a kids’ bicycle decorating contest.
The fun day includes an annual car show, free watermelon, food and baked goods for sale, raffles, coupons, and prizes, and a movie night at the Quail Run shelter!

Admission to the park is $5 per car unless you have the Kansas State Parks Vehicle Pass. (We have it and highly recommend it if you’ll go to a state park more than three times.)
