Some of Wichita’s best young musicians will perform Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Century II in downtown Wichita. The Wichita Symphony Youth Orchestra’s Spring Concert features three youth orchestras – The Chamber Players, Repertory Orchestra and the Youth Symphony – playing Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Lalo and more.
Tickets for the concert are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and FREE for children 12 and under. For tickets, call (316) 267-7658.
Membership in the Wichita Symphony Youth Orchestras are by audition and instructor approval only, so these are some talented and serious players. I expect that the Spring Concert will be a wonderful and inexpensive way to enjoy the symphony in Wichita.
