Visit the museum that celebrates our own local history and enjoy some ice cream at the annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Admission is only $2 for adults, and free for kids 12 and under. They’ll have music, prizes, a cake walk, cookies, four floors of museum exhibits, and – of course – ice cream!
The ice cream social will be held at the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum on Main Street downtown. (It’s the building with the clock tower.) This would be a good – and inexpensive – way to kick off Mothers Day weekend! If you’re looking for more things to do, Katie has updated the list of other free and inexpensive Mothers Day events in Wichita.
