In addition to antiques or vintage finds, you’ll also likely find local handmade products and art. In almost all cases, you can interact directly with the artist, maker, or finder of the items.

April 2 Unique Antique Market 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sedgwick County Extension Center, 7001 W. 21st Street N., Wichita, Kansas Vintage jewelry, funky junk, antique furniture, vintage clothing, home and garden decor, scarves, old books, and seasonal decor. FREE admission.
April 22 Porter Street Artists and Friends 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 941 N. Porter Ave. in Wichita. Several artists living on the same street decided to hold a neighborhood shopping event. Handmade art for sale by local artists. Go from house to house and yard to yard. Really nice items for sale directly from the artists.

Mid-America Flea Market
Kansas State Fair grounds, 2000 N. Poplar, Hutchinson, Kansas 67502 Huge monthly flea market in Hutchinson. Admission is $1; kids 12 and younger free. (They used to hold flea markets at the Kansas Coliseum as well as in Hutchinson, but now they’re searching for a new Wichita location.)
