Wichita’s annual Veteran’s Day parade will be held downtown Saturday morning, November 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. The theme for this year’s parade is “Remembering the Forgotten War – The 60th Anniversary of the Armistice of the
Korean War,” and is primarily dedicated to both those who served in the Korean War 1950-1953, and to those who have served in Korea since.
The parade will start at Murdock and Main, travel south on Main Street and end on Douglas near Century II.
A celebration with patriotic music and displays will be available in Century II’s Kennedy Plaza following the parade. You’ll also be able to meet and mingle with parade participants.
