31-cent Scoop Night at Baskin Robbins
Honoring America’s firefighters with cheap ice cream? Sounds good to me! The 5th annual 31-cent scoop night at Baskin Robbins is Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Show up between 5 and 10 p.m. and receive up to 3 scoops of your favorite flavor for only .31 each!
This is part of a fundraiser for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Baskin Robbins Community Foundation is donating $100,000 to the cause. You may be able to donate too — last year there were local firemen giving rides in a mini firetruck and accepting donations.

I think it’s time for a mid-week pizza party! Papa John’s here in Wichita, Kansas is having an online-only Customer Appreciation special.
You can get a large one-topping pizza, original or thin crust, for $5.99 when you order online and use the promo code: onlinecad599
The promotion is good only on carryout orders. No limit to the number of pizzas you can buy at this price.
Here’s how to do it:
- Sign up or sign in at the Papa Johns website.
- Click the Special Offers tab.
- Paste or type the promo code onlinecad599 in the box that says, “Enter promo code,” then click Apply.
- A pop-up window will open. Click Add & Customize. That window will close and you can pick a topping for your pizza.
- Click Add to Order. Your order should show up in the right column of the page, and the price should be $5.99 (plus tax).
- Repeat the process for each pizza you want to buy. What a deal!
As always, watch your totals during the checkout process (and after you’ve entered the code) to make sure everything is correct before you enter your payment info. It’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Enjoy!
