Kids who are interested in a career in engineering are invited to this free Engineering Expo in Wichita.
Engineering Expo for Kids
The 14th annual free engineering expo, featuring hands-on activities for boys & girls, will be held on Saturday February 25, 2012, 9am-12pm at the Spirit AeroSystems HR Service Center located at 3420 S. Oliver (SE corner of 31st St. South & Oliver) from 9am-12pm. It is presented by the Wichita section of the Society of Women Engineers in partnership with the WSU College of Engineering to show kids how engineering and science relate to the world around us.
Expo features fun hands-on activities at various booths for kids in grades K-8. You can stop in any time and try something, and go to whatever booths you’re interested in. It runs for several hours but you can drop in any time.
There is no registration or cost involved. Expo is free for kids and parents!
Parents should stay with children throughout the activities.
