Today’s Groupon: Museum of World Treasures

Since there have already been 264 sold this morning, it’s obvious Groupon‘s done it again with another one of Wichita’s nicest attractions. If you missed Botanica’s Groupon with $3 admission (or even if you didn’t), here’s your opportunity:

Buy today’s Groupon and get into The Museum of World Treasures for only $4. You can buy up to 4 Groupons for yourself at this special price, but you can get multiple as gifts for friends. Regular admission is $9 for adults, $8 for senior citizens, and $7 kids 4-12.

The Groupon doesn’t expire until December 22, 2010, so you have all of summer and fall to make your visit. The thing about Groupons is that you don’t have to use them today–you just buy them today. When you bring them with you to the Museum of World Treasure, the Groupon you bought gets you into the museum.

Check the Groupon offer page for more details.

Family Fun Magazine – One Year for $5

Want a whole year of Family Fun for about the price of a single issue? Disney’s Family Fun magazine is really popular because of it’s great, usable ideas in each issue–everything from the cutest costumes (like a slice of pizza!) to family vacation reviews. It also has great recipes and games and activities to try with your kids. I’ve loved the magazine ever since it was recommended to me by a friend, but being the cheapskate I am, I never bought a subscription.  When prices are this low, that’s like shooting myself in the foot because I know I’m going to want to pick up at least one copy this year. (This also would make a great gift for your mom-friends, and even for elementary school teachers.)

If you order this week, you can get a<a href=”http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FDisney-FamilyFun-1-year-auto-renewal%2Fdp%2FB002PXW0E4%3Fpf_rd%5Fm%3DATVPDKIKX0DER%26pf%5Frd%5Fs%3Dright-1%26pf%5Frd%5Fr%3D1T9W5F2GDCP19EF9KT1X%26pf%5Frd%5Ft%3D101%26pf%5Frd%5Fp%3D1261006282%26pf%5Frd%5Fi%3D604932&tag=wichonthechea-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325″>Family Fun magazine subscription for only $5</a><img src=”http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=wichonthechea-20&l=ur2&o=1″ width=”1″ height=”1″ border=”0″ alt=”" style=”border:none !important; margin:0px !important;” /> at Amazon.

The only catch is that this subscription is on auto-renewal; however, you can cancel the auto-renewal at any time in Your Subscription Manager.

The link above is my affiliate link to Amazon. If you use the link to purchase your subscription, you’ll get the $5 deal and I may receive a commission on the sale. You do not have to use my link to get this deal, but I appreciate it when you do. :)

Sesame Street Live is coming to town and Wichita on the Cheap has free tickets to give away!

Wichita on the Cheap is giving away two Family 4-packs of ticket vouchers for the Sesame Street Live musical “1-2-3 Imagine! with Elmo and Friends” at Intrust Bank Arena, March 5-7, 2010. That’s two families who get to see the show for free!

See the storyline
Meet the cast

The two winners will be selected randomly from among all valid entries received. Entries must be received by the deadline of Sunday, February 21st, 2010. Yikes! That’s next weekend.

How to Enter:

Entering to win the free tickets is as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Sign up for Wichita on the Cheap FREE email subscription before February 21st, 2010.

The sign-up box is on the right side of this page, up towards the top. See it? Every day that new bargains are posted, you’ll receive one email with a short excerpt of each post. (We don’t spam and we keep your email address to ourselves. If you’re still concerned, see our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.)

If you’re already a subscriber, proceed to Step 2.

2. Leave a comment on this post.

Let me know you want to enter to win a free family 4-pack of tickets to Sesame Street Live in the “Leave a Reply” box below. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just something like: “Please enter me to win tickets to Sesame Street Live!” You can punctuate with less enthusiasm if you want, but what would Elmo do?

3. Check your email while you Imagine! yourself at Sesame Street Live.

If you’ve won, you’ll be notified at the email address you used when you signed up. If I can’t reach you, I’ll have to give the tickets to another entrant. But I really, really want to give the ticket vouchers to you! So please check your email after Sunday, February 21.
