Spring Orchid Show and Sale at Botanica


This weekend, March 21 and 22, the Kansas Orchid Society will present the "Spring Into Orchids" show and sale at Botanica. Hobbyists will exhibit their finest orchids for judging and vendors will offer orchid plants and growing supplies for sale. Adults Pay Kids’ Prices at Illuminations

To make the last week of the holiday special, Botanica is partnering with the Kansas Food Bank for Kid at Heart week, where adults pay kid prices when they bring in two cans of food. From Dec. 26 to Dec. 31, adults will pay just $6 for a ticket when they bring in 2 cans of food for the Kansas Food Bank. Bootanica at Botanica Wichita Gardens

Bootanica, Botanica's fun fall fundraiser, will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014. It's an opportunity for kids to give their costumes a test drive, make some crafts, play, and enjoy Botanica in the fall. Bootanica costs $8 per person; $6 for Botanica members. Botanica has begun construction of a Chinese Garden of Friendship to celebrate the Sister Cities relationship between Wichita and Kaifeng, China and serve as a bridge connecting cultures in our community.
