Wichita, KS. March 20-24, 2017 – The Great Plains Nature Center will host a spring break nature week! Join them to experience new things, gain some new skills, and enjoy nature.
Each day of spring break nature week will focus on a different Kansas habitat. The kids will help build a Kansas mural, habitat by habitat, as they go.
• Monday – Explore Prairie
• Tuesday – Explore Woodlands
• Wednesday – Explore Wetlands
• Thursday – Explore Underwater
• Friday – Explore Deserts
During the day, guests will have the opportunities to make tasty and fun snacks, receive a craft to take home, go on a short nature hike, and enjoy an animal presentation.
Animal presentations will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Guided nature hikes will be held at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
This spring break activities at Great Plains Nature Center promise to be fun and educational for the whole family.
No pre-registration is required! Activities will be held rain or shine at The Great Plains Nature Center during the week of spring break March 20-24, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
