The Sedgwick, Kansas Fall Festival 2013 opens today, Friday, September 20 and continues all weekend. Friday festival fun includes an ice cream social and live music by Made from Scratch, and continues Saturday with a parade, kids’ activities, biscuits and gravy breakfast, bake sale, book sale, the Rod Run and Bike Show, more live music and a street dance, pony rides and a petting zoo for the kids, and plenty of other events and activities. Then, a whole day of events is planned for Sunday, including a Horse Fun Show, community sing and cowboy church, sidewalk chalk art contest, and more live music.
One of the highlights of the Sedgwick Fall Festival is a PRCA Rodeo on Saturday, September 21 at 3 p.m. The parade is Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
Admission to the Sedgwick Fall Festival is a $5 festival button. With your button, admission to the rodeo on Saturday is only $5, or $10 at the gate. Kids 7 and under get in to the rodeo with a button or $5. But you’ll want the button, for sure, because it entitles you to the free (donations welcome) Community BBQ at noon on Saturday!
