If shopping is one hallmark of the season, let’s not forget that another hallmark is singing. And celebrating. The Emerald City Chorus will combine both singing and celebrating in its upcoming A Celebration of Carols Christmas Concert. The concert will be held inside the beautiful Scottish Rite Center auditorium on Saturday, December 8, 2012 with matinee and evening performances.
The $30 VIP tickets have already sold out, but you can still get floor seating for $15 per ticket. Balcony seating, which is regularly priced at $12.50 per ticket, will be discounted further still for YOU.
Readers of Wichita on the Cheap can purchase two balcony tickets for only $20. Call (316) 733-2619 and ask for the discount when you order your tickets.
The matinee concert is a good choice if you’re bringing the whole family and it starts at 2 p.m. Or spend an elegant evening out with someone special and enjoy the evening concert at 7:30 p.m. The choice is yours, and the Wichita on the Cheap discount works for both shows.
A Celebration of Carols will feature both traditional carols and fun renditions of more recent “classics” (think: “You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch”).
A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Arc of Sedgwick County.
