During spring break, the Museum of World Treasures will be recognizing and celebrating a “Week of Heroes” with special activities inside and outside of the museum. Meet local veterans, military members, police, and firefighters, and enjoy themed crafts, live demonstrations, and educational activities all week. These special activities are included in general museum admission.
We went last year during spring break and had a ton of fun.
Regular museum membership is $8.95 for teens and adults, $7.95 for seniors, and $6.95 for youth ages 4 through 12, or you can save a few dollars with a Family Day Pass, which includes 2 adults and 2 children, for only $28.50. Another way to save is with the Wichita Explore Card. Military personnel, first responders, and their families get $1 off regular admission.
The museum will have a variety of vehicles in the plaza in front of the building during Spring Break Heroes Week. Activities outside on the plaza are free, including touch-a-truck and meeting and thanking the heroes who operate them.
