The 21st annual KidFest is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Century II. KidFest is a big to-do with plenty of activities, vendors, demonstrations, and information about just about anything kid-related. They also have super-sized inflatables, a video game zone, live stage demonstrations, along with some of the kids’ favorite costumed characters.
Wear your walking shoes and bring your well-rested youngsters – there really is a lot to do and see. Then consider planning a nap-time (for you, lol!) afterwards. 🙂
KidFest will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Metered parking is available in the Century II lot – which is always full – or you can get free parking in the lots just south of there, between Century II and Kellogg, or try for a spot in the free parking garage on Main Street just south of the library.
Tickets to Wichita KidFest are $6 for adults and $2 for children 10 and younger, but they sometimes have special promotions. I’ll keep an ear out and will update this post if I hear of anything. (Feel free to leave a comment if you hear of a deal on tickets!)
