Free Tram Tour at Underground Salt Museum

Click the link to get a printable coupon for a free tram tour (dark ride) at the Kansas Underground Salt Museum in Hutchinson. It’s good until the end of April.

Have you been? I’ve heard good things about it, and I’m really looking forward to going sometime this month. So in preparation, (and to find out what a dark ride was), I spent some time exploring the Salt Museum’s website. The Education tab has more information than I even knew existed. Check it out.

And of course, I had to go back and watch a clip of the “Cave Digger & Salt Miner” episode of Dirty Jobs that aired some time ago. Last year, maybe? Anyway, click the preview tab and wait through the introductory jokes about poo (giggle) and you’ll even see Mike at the airport here in Wichita.

While you’re in Hutch, you might want to visit the Kansas Cosmosphere as well. You’ll get about a 15% discount if you order the combo ticket online. Visit the reservations page of the Underground Salt Museum for more information.

That’s strange, Jenny. It works for me. You’re clicking the words “free tram tour?”

You might try copying and pasting the link into your browser: http://tweetphoto.com/18710464

Here’s another way to get the coupon if you’re on Facebook: Become a fan of the Salt Museum by copying and pasting this link in your browser’s address bar: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hutchinson-KS/Kansas-Underground-Salt-Museum/16393642371?ref=ts

Kansas Salt Museum is also on Twitter. Their user name is @650feetDown They have a link to the coupon in their Twitter stream.

Hope one of those ways to get to the coupon works. Let me know if you have any more trouble and I’ll see what else I might be able to do.

It still won’t show me the picture on the tweetphoto site but I got it off their facebook page. Thanks!
