Free Haircuts to Benefit KHS and Break World Record

That’s a lot of info to try to fit into a headline! In an effort to help the Kansas Humane Society win the ASPCA 100K challenge, Patrick Lomantini of Lomantini, The Salon, is giving away free haircuts starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning (August 19th) and ending at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. He’s donating all tips he receives to the Kansas Humane Society. (So it’s a great weekend to be big tippers.)

But that’s not all. He’s also going to try to break the Guinness world record by cutting hair continuously for 72 hours. Night owls, rejoice–apparently Patrick will be giving free haircuts while the rest of the world gets its beauty sleep. To set your appointment or get more information about this crazy event, visit the Kansas Humane Society website and scroll down the page a bit.

I’m thinking the men who get buzz cuts should be scheduled later in the weekend, because by then Patrick is bound to start feeling tired. :)

Lomantini, The Salon is at 1812 S. Seneca.

Thanks to Frank Woodman on Twitter for this really very good suggestion: If you have long hair (over 10″) and are going to take advantage of this free haircut deal, why not ask the stylist to cut it so it can be donated to Locks of Love?
