However, I can say that I've discovered a few great places because of deals. Among the currently-available Restaurant.com choices, I've tried and liked Ben Villar's and Jersey's (a new restaurant on the east side near Menards). I haven't tried the AVI Seabar and Chophouse, but that's the new one inside the Drury Plaza Broadview hotel downtown. And Heroes Sports Bar and Grill is supposed to be pretty good. Also, if you're unsure, reviews at Yelp or Urban Spoon can be really helpful. In this case, you're getting a good discount on the movie tickets alone. And there are often Restaurant.com promos that allow you to buy a $25 gift certificate for as low as $2, so I take that into account when deciding whether or not to post a deal.
