  • Wakefield City Wide Yard Sale Saturday, May 25, 2013. Pretty smart for this small town near Milford Reservoir to have its citywide garage sale this weekend, as there is bound to be lots of traffic up near the lake.

Wichita Neighborhood Garage Sales and other large sales

  • Park East Neighborhood Garage Sales Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 23-25, 2013. Sales on both Hillsdale and Cardinal Streets. Apparently the streets in the neighborhood circle around; the lister says to make sure you go around the whole circle so you don’t miss any of the sales.

Old Town Farmers Market (Downtown)
Saturday mornings from 7 a.m. – Noon May 4 through October 12, 2013
Farm & Art Market Square in Old Town, 1st and Mosley
On a brick courtyard in the heart of Old Town, right next to the Museum of World Treasures. Old Town Farmers Market includes live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, a kid’s corner, and more.

$1 flip-flops at JCPenneyOkay, flip-flop fans (try saying that just once fast), JCPenney is having a flip-flop sale beginning Friday, April 12, 2013. While supplies last, a select assortment of flip-flops in sizes for the whole family will be on sale for just $1 per pair. The sale is available in stores only.

Wichita has two JCP locations (Towne East and Towne West malls), and there are several others in nearby towns, including Hutchinson, Winfield, and Salina.

There’s a limit of 5 pairs of the $1 flip-flops per customer.

  • Mt. Hope Citywide Garage Sale Saturday, April 13, 2013. Garage sale maps will be available at the Community Center, which is located near the corner of Main St. and Ohio between the pizza place and the library. They’ll be selling cinnamon rolls for breakfast and you can also purchase lunch there.
  • Valley Center Citywide Garage Sale Friday, April 12, 2013 at 7 a.m. to Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 4 p.m. Maps should be available beginning April 10 at  Anne’s Attic, Leeker’s, Kwik Shop, or DZ Automotive.
  • All Saints Child Care Center is hosting a one-day sale on Saturday, April 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the All Saints school gym. The address is 3313 Grand St., Wichita. The parking lot can be accessed from Grand or Harry.
  • Mid-America Flea Market is Sunday, April 14 at the Kansas Coliseum Pavilions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $1 for ages 13 and up. Thanks to Leila for bringing this to my attention in the comments section below!
