The Great Train Expo is making a stop in Wichita March 16-17, 2013. It will be a lot of fun for kids and model train hobbyists.
Kids under 12 get in FREE, and the cost of admission for anyone 12 and older is $7, which gets you in to both days of the expo.
Model trains and toy layouts will be set up and operating for everyone in the family to enjoy. There will be a train that kids can ride and trains they can play with.
More than 200 vendor tables will be set up with HO Scale, N Scale, Lionel (O Gauge), G Gauge, Z Scale, American Flyer (S Gauge), train whistles, scenery items, hobby tools, and a lot more available. Free workshops for beginners and experienced modelers will be available during the train expo.
The Great Train Expo is Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Century II. For more information, visit the Great Train Expo website.
