The Wichita Kennel Club is adding a fourth day to its annual all-breed event, the Sunflower Cluster Dog Show, held at the Kansas Coliseum Pavilions each year.

The 2013 Sunflower Cluster Dog Show will be held Thursday, April 4 to Monday, April 8. Admission is free.

This looks like it will be a great free family activity with the kids. Dogs will have to stay at home unless they’re entered in the show, and the event organizers also request that strollers not be used inside the pavilions (too many wagging tails that could be rolled over).

This is an all-breed dog show by the American Kennel Club. Events will include obedience, agility, herding, conformation, and others.

The Sunflower Cluster Dog Show is one of the first in the country to open the competition to mixed-breed dogs in the obedience, agility, and rally events. (I’m of uncertain ancestry myself, so I think this is cool. :) )

Date: April 4-8, 2013
Time: All day
Location: The pavilions at the Kansas Coliseum
Cost: FREE for spectators
