Sign up for a membership at the Wichita YMCA before January 14, 2013 and your $50 joiner fee will be waived.
The YMCA can be a great deal for anyone looking to get into shape, and families will especially get a lot of bang for their bucks this summer with the outdoor waterparks. Included with a YMCA membership are many group exercise classes, access to fitness equipment, indoor pools, youth and family group classes, youth exercise equipment, and more. There are other fee-based classes, like swimming lessons, youth sports, gymnastics, dance, and others that are offered at a discount to Y members.
The YMCA also has income-based membership pricing if you qualify. (You’ll need to provide some proof of income, like a copy of your tax form. And you can now calculate your rate online at the YMCA website.)
