If you’ve been wanting to adopt a dog, this could be a good weekend to do it. Adoption fees for dogs over 40 lbs. are 50% off this weekend, August 4-5, 2012, at the Kansas Humane Society. Fees for dogs 39 lbs. and under are reduced by 25%. There are some real sweethearts – 90 to choose from – looking for homes.
