Best Buy also has really good selection of laptops under $300. Many of them have free shipping, but if you choose free in-store pickup, you’ll not only save on shipping charges but you may be able to pick it up the same day.

Walmart seems to be stepping up its back-to-school deals with several laptops under $300 right now. The 11.6-inch Acer Aspire (pictured) is only $268.
Another cheap laptop this week is the 15.6″ Compaq Presario CQ57-339WM Laptop PC with Intel Celeron B800 Processor and Windows 7 Home Premium. It’s only $278, unless you add options, and shipping is free on this laptop. You can upgrade to Windows Pro 8 for only $14.99.
Both of these laptops are online deals – you may or may not be able to find them in the stores. You can purchase them online and pay in the store if you prefer to do it that way.
There’s also a back-to-college laptop bundle available online at Walmart with 24 different laptops to choose from, laptop case, flash drive and optional mouse. The price will vary depending on which options you choose, but some will be under $300.
