In August this year, the town of Mulvane, Kansas will hold its 139th annual Old Settler’s Celebration. It’s been an annual event since 1873!
The 2012 Old Setter’s event will be held Friday through Sunday, August 17-19, 2012, in Mulvane. The celebration includes a parade, carnival, street dance, rodeo, road race, and activities in the park all weekend. Admission to the event last year required a $2 button, which could be purchased at many Mulvane-area businesses. More information can be found at the Mulvane Old Settler’s Facebook page.
