UPDATE: The concert has been moved indoors to Century II because of the cool temperature. (The instruments don’t like the cold.)
The final performance of the season for the Wichita Symphony Orchestra will be Friday night, June 1, 2012 at Riverfest. The Twilight Pops concert is always one of the highlights of the Wichita River Festival.
In past years, the concert was held outside Century II, but the new venue is at West Bank. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the concert begins at 8:30 p.m. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and friends to enjoy the evening. The fireworks usually begin at the end of the concert.
The Pops concert is free for everyone with a $5 Riverfest button. See the full program at the WSO website.
