Thanks to Pat R. for letting me know about this sweet Mother’s Day deal!
Kids ages can assemble a little fresh-flower bouquet for Mom – compliments of the Old Town Farmer’s Market – this Saturday, May 12, 2012 between 9 and 11 a.m.
Just visit the Kids Corner while you’re at the market. The flower bouquet is this week’s make-it/take-it project, but they have projects every week.
Old Town Farmers Market (Downtown)
Saturday mornings from 7 a.m. – Noon May through October; Kids Corner 9-11 a.m.
Farm & Art Market Square in Old Town, 1st and Mosley
On a brick courtyard in the heart of Old Town, right next to the Museum of World Treasures. http://www.oldtownfarmersmarket.com/
Note: This is probably a “while supplies last” type of project, so go early!
Thanks also to Vertical Violet for helping me clear up the question about kids’ ages! It’s open to kids of all ages, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m!

My son would love this, he loves going to florist and telling them what to put it. Too bad he is too young, do you think they would let a 6 year old do it?
There is no age restriction-I run the Kids Corner each week & kids of ALL ages welcome to participate.
good to know…if my younger 2 (out of 3, ages 5, 8, and 10) couldnt do it, it would be a deal breaker.
Yes, good to know, Vertical Violet. I’ll update the post. Maybe she meant “11 and under” when she told me the ages?
Actually, the 9 to 11 referred to the hours for the Kids Corner. Like our great Kids Corner leader said – we love kids of all ages!! Thank you Wichita on the Cheap for including this on your great fb page.
Oh my goodness! LOL
I’ll go fix that right away. That’s what I get for being hasty.

I’ll go fix that right away. That’s what I get for being hasty and not asking questions, because I did think the “age range” sounded funny.

Yay we will be there.
