Half-Off Certificates for A-Maze-In Grace Corn Maze

This might be perfect for a group, but it won’t be much good if you only plan to go once with your small family. Regular adult admission is $8, kids between the ages of 6 and 12 are $6, and kids 5 and under are free.
This Saturday, October 2nd, and next Saturday, October 9th, the Eagle Valley Raptor Society will be there from 5-7p.m.. A-Maze-In Grace will also have live music on Saturday evenings from 5 – 7 p.m. on October 9th, 16th, and 23rd.

Half-price Admission and Free Educational Art Programs at Rolling Hills Wildlife Museum
On Sunday, October 3rd, husband and wife miniature artists Wes and Rachelle Siegrist will be holding free educational art programs at Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure in Salina during a special Meet The Artists event.
Kids can learn how to draw animals in miniature using colored pencils to make a Christmas ornament. The first session, for kids ages 5-10, will be held from 1-2 p.m. and the second session, for kids ages 11-14, will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. There’s no fee for the children’s class, but you do need to call ahead to reserve a spot: 785-827-9488, ext. 117.
At 4 p.m. in the Conference Center Ballroom, Wes and Rachel will give a free talk on the history of miniature art, and from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. you can join them for a Gallery Walk and find out more about their techniques, influences, and paintings.
The Siegrists’ exhibit, The World of Nature in Miniature, will be on display in the Wildlife Museum. Wes and Rachelle will also be available between programs for signing of their books, Exquisite Miniatures, and The World of Nature in Miniature.
Admission to the Rolling Hills Wildlife Museum will be half price for this event, Sunday October 3rd, 2010.
Give: Woofstock 2010
Woofstock is a fun event that raises funds for the Kansas Humane Society. Woofstock 2010 opens at 9:30 a.m. at Sedgwick County Park with food and fun for you and your dog(s) until 3 p.m.
Get behavioral advice, teach your dog how to do water retrieval, sign him or her up for the Ruff Races, and lots more. There will also be a Paws & Play area where kids and dogs can get the wigglies out. (Bounces for kids and digging for treats for the dogs.)

Free Ice Cream at Cold Stone Creamery Thursday Evening
Thursday, September 30, 2010, from 5 – 8 p.m. you can get a free 3 oz. portion of “Kate’s Creation” – a mixture of caramel apple ice cream, chocolate shavings, apple pie filling, and graham cracker pie crust–during the Cold Stone Creamery’s World’s Largest Ice Cream Social.
This delectable combination was invented by Kate, an 11-year old girl whose wish to come up with the exclusive flavor for the “World’s Largest Ice Cream Social” was granted as part of the Make-A-Wish program.
This is the 9th year that Cold Stone Creamery has put on the free ice cream fundraiser. Donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation will be accepted when you come in to get your free ice cream.
