Sedgwick County Zoo for $2 and a Phone Book

| 08/17/2010 | 3 Comments

Don’t throw away your old phone books! Sedgwick County Zoo is working with AT&T’s Project ReDirectory to encourage recycling of phone books. On Sunday, August 29th, 2010 between 8:30 and 5, bring an old phone book plus $2 to get in to the Sedgwick County Zoo. (Each phone book = $2 zoo admission. Any brand of phone book will be accepted.)

If you just want to recycle your book and can’t make it to the zoo, collection bins are also located at all area Dillons stores.

For more information, visit the Sedgwick County Zoo online.

  1. Don Watson says:

Why would you want to do this on a Sunday morning? when people need to be in the House of the God.

    • C. says:

I don’t see any reason why this has to conflict with church Don, since the event begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. If your church is in the morning, you can go in the afternoon or vice versa.

See? No conflict. Unless your religion prohibits it, I guess. I know I am probably going in the afternoon.

  2. Danielle says:

    I’ll be there on Sunday!
